Up for sale is one GARMIN WAAS GNS530W. It is in perfect working order and we just updated it to the latest firmware from Garmin. The firmware is certified as a gps source for ADSB type 2 as required by the 2020 tso mandate. The previous owner is scheduled to have us (Airtronics) install new GTN touch screen navigators. This unit is one of two that will be removed from aircraft on 8/22/14. The one unit will be shipped on 8/23/14 to the winning bidder. It has been meticulously cared for and has had a protector on it since new. Screens are perfect. This unit will be delivered to winning bidder with the used tray, connectors, data base cards (data base cards will be expired) and a fresh 8130-3. No antenna is provided but winning bidder can buy one from us new for $325. A two year warranty is available for $850 .This unit is one that was upgraded to WAAS. The main and Nav boards are dual voltage at either 14 or 28 VDC. This fact is not known to many, but we guarantee this is the case. However the com board in the unit is the original 28vdc and is not changed in a WAAS upgrade. A step up converter is available for those who have a 14vdc system at $300 additional.
