Screw remover, Screw Knocker, Old Man or Woodpecker
Use this screw remover to help remove corroded or overtightened screws.
I have used a tool like this to remove countersunk screws from large aircraft wings, Allen head cap screws from cargo dollies and button head screws from from my cars throttle body. Saves a lot of time and drilling.
The pounding of the rivet gun helps to free the screw while you apply the twisting force through the tool handle. The impact force from the rivet gun also helps keep pressure on the tool tip in the screw head to helping keep it from rounding out..
- Fits rivet guns with a .401 Taper shank.
