Low time 1962 Cessnsa 172C. Project, needs annual and one carry through spar replaced. I have the spar to replace it. All logs since new, 3539.7 TTAF 230.0 TTSMO. Compression 74/80 or better on all cylinders as of 1/1/14, 100 hour inspection was completed. 10/10/13 prop overhauled and set to climb pitch. All avionics updated 8/14/12 with yellow tags. All instruments inspected and overhauled 7/23/09. This is your chance to get an IFR equipped 172 cheap. You can buy it for the cost of the motor and get the whole plane. With the $6,000 worth of avionics put in it in August 2012, Horton STOL, the older but decent interior, prop and Cleveland wheels and brakes. The motor has 230 hours since major overhaul. All the engine accessories were overhauled at this time. The only reason the plane is not in annual is the corrosion on the carry through spare in the fuselage. I have the replacement spar for it and two new rear windows. Look at the pictures , I am pointing at the corrosion. After a thorough inspection this was the only corrosion on the airplane. Just look at the pictures. The reason I am selling is I have bought a newer Mooney and have lost interest in the 172. My loss your gain. This would be a great chance to get an IFR Cessna 172 CHEAP. You can put it back in the air for way less then you could buy one in annual with higher times. I can help with shipping or exporting at buyers cost, not mine.
