Up for Bids, Is a KING AVIONICS KX170B VHF Aircraft Transceiver a NAV/COM UNIT, IN fully operational Conditions, But it requires the Replacement of the rear mating connector, to be replaced, so as to make the Radio "MATE" electrically to the Mounting Rack's attached prewired connector. Because it has a Broken plastic attachment point.
I personnaly tested it !I had to push HARD into the Mating tray,I have a portable customed made KING Base station unit for ALL KING radios and I used this Base station to test this radio.But had to push hard in order to make the radio turn on. Mating connector is not that Strongly attached, it has a minor play.
By changing this connector, which I happeend to have a spare, from another Radio it was used for Parts.
Serial number of this Unit is shown in the photos.
Radio is in GOOD Clean Conditions as well ! As you can see in the photos.
These Radios are Very reliable units, well Built, and has had a very Stroong Tracked records of High performance Radios very Reliable,low power compsumption,only receives with mere .067 Amps/Hour. Transmitt using FULL 5 amps.
Radio weighs in some 7.7 Lbs.
This is a true working unit, in Very good appaearances.
