Current Price: 550.00 USD |
Just removed from my Cessna for installation of upgraded ADS-B compatible GPS/Comm system. Nav and Comm sides worked perfectly on flight in to avionics shop.
Display on Mk 12E replaced (don't recall date, but probably flown about 30 hrs. since). Front bezels are in good shape. All functions operated normally when removed.
Tray and connector shells included.
Replacement displays alone for these sell for over $250, and you're getting a recently replaced one, and a good radio and indicator to boot.
(This unit does NOT include a Glideslope receiver, nor Glideslope indicator.)
The MK-12E has a bright gas-discharge display, with automatic dimming. This display shows simultaneous active and standby frequencies for both the NAV and COMM sides. The MK-12E NAV/COMM tunes in 200 NAV channels and 760 COMM channels.
The Narco MK-12E also features:
- Solid state design
- Internal VOR/LOC Converter
- Remote DME channeling
- Push button frequency flip-flop
- Automatic audio leveling
- Automatic squelch
- Audio amplifier (for driving a cabin speaker)
- TSO'd
Would be great for a second Nav/Comm, or for a homebuilt A/C.
Narco is gone, but there are still plenty of parts and shops who can fix these out there. If you have one of these in your plane, you know a good spare is probably a good idea.
I'm sure you understand that since I can't control their installation, I can't guarantee these items, but I will assure you that they were working when I flew the airplane to the avionics shop where they were replaced with an upgrdaded GPS/ADS-B system.
