This is Skybolt N98JE. In 1998 this aircraft was rebuilt. It has a Continental IO- 470 engine. It has 260 horse power but is not set up to be inverted. The engine time is 590 TT and the aircraft frame is 1556.22. This is categorize as Experimental. This aircraft was inspected and signed off on the 09/13/16 and is ready to fly. The propeller is a Hartzell constant speed propeller. I have owned this aircraft for about 12 years. When I bought the plane I totally dismantled it and fixed all problems. I recovered and painted the aircraft with Stits recovering material. I replaced the landing gear and new tires. I flew it to the Florida area and it will easily cruise 160 knots with three fourths throttle at 10,000 feet. The engine runs perfect. This aircraft can do any aerobatics you want but try and keep positive G's. This aircraft is very fast and not for your average pilot. Skybolts are very responsive and fly very precise.
