**AMAZING AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE**

N5399W is located at 2M8, Charles Baker airport in Millington, TN.  

This is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best flying cherokee I've ever flown, and I've flown a LOT of them.  It is a TRUE 160B model which means that in addition to having the 160hp engine, it also has the extended baggage area and side access baggage door.  It leaps off the ground, climbs abruptly, flys great, has respectable cruising speeds, and burns next to nothing in fuel.  It is also IFR equipped AND has an autopilot!  This would make an outstanding private license trainer, IFR trainer or capable family aircraft.  Cherokee maintenance is straightforward and relatively inexpensive and the O-320 engine is well known for being nearly bulletproof.  This is the kind of plane you can fly for 2-3 years, sell it to upgrade and it's still worth what you paid for it.  I know so many people who flew their Cherokee for a couple years, then upgraded and got all of their purchase price back.  If you are comparing this plane to a Cherokee 140, you're comparing apples to oranges.  If you buy a Cherokee 140, you will kick yourself after the purchase as they have no baggage area so everything you have with you ends up in the back seat.  The 160 is also more stable as it's slightly longer.  The LoPresti modifications make this plane much more stable and docile at low speeds and the climb performance is amazing.

Annual completed October 2013 with all AD's complied with including the new AD on control cables, complete re-rigging and adjustment of control cables.  At that time, a new battery was installed, new nose tire installed and carb heat shroud was welded.  I've personally flown this plane for over a year and found it to be an unbelievable aircraft.  You will love it!            

AIRFRAME  5260 hours TTAF.  All Lo-Presti speed and performance mods to include wingtips with integrated landing lights ($2000), flap and gap seals, wing root seals, stabilator tips, vortex generators, Boom Beam high intensity LED landing lights and much more.  These upgrades alone would cost $8-10,000 to have installed on a plane that doesn't have them already.  Paint is in fair condition on the fuselage, much worse condition on the wings but interior is amazing.  Airframe is corrosion and hail ding free.  Glass is in very good condition.

INTERIOR   The interior is in outstanding condition with new ultra leather seats, very nice carpet, clear glass, and very nice headliner.  I've never seen a Cherokee with interior this nice.  A few minor pieces such as light covers and vents need replacing but they are cheap and easy to replace.  There are no toe brakes on the original Cherokees but once  you fly without them, you honestly won't want to go back to one with toe brakes.  It's nice not to have to pull your toes back when you land to prevent accidental braking and the hand brake ensures straight line braking.  Cherokees that have toe brakes are a nightmare to bleed brakes as well.  

AVIONICS  * You will probably never find another Cherokee with an IFR avionics package like this as long as you search.  It would be silly for anyone to spend this kind of money to install avionics like this on a lower priced aircraft but someone did just that to this plane.  You would spend over $20,000 to install these avionics in a plane so even if the plane was free, you'd have a small fortune invested.

ENGINE  The 160 hp Lycoming O-320 engine runs like a sewing machine.  It has a spin on oil filter to extend oil change intervals and the engine life.  It runs synthetic oil only with no major oil leaks and oil consumption is insignificant.  It has 1400 hours since major overhaul and has had a ton of recent maintenance in the last several years.  Most flight schools will tell you that they routinely run the O-320's for 3000 hours before overhaul and I know of one plane running an O-320 with almost 5000 hours since overhaul.   Additionally, the O-320 160hp engine can be approved to run 91 octane automotive fuel to save even more money and extend your flying budget. 

Even if someone were to GIVE you a Cherokee 160, you'd have over $30,000 invested by the time you put this avionics package, the LoPresti modifications and a new interior into it.  This plane is priced lower than most Cherokee 160's on the market and is much, much nicer.  You will be amazed at the performance of this plane.  It is truly ready to fly anywhere.  

Buyer responsible for pickup of aircraft at 2M8 airport in Millington, TN (just north of Memphis).  If you fly into Memphis on a commercial flight, I can pick you up at the airport and take you to 2M8.  Delivery possible for expenses only.  We have several pilots who will deliver this aircraft to you for fuel, hotels, food and return airfare home.  Aircraft must be paid for in full before it leaves.

PAYMENT  $2000 deposit due through PayPal within 48 hours. Final balance due within 7 days.  Final payment may be in the form of cash in person, cashier's check (with time allowed for funds to clear) or wire transfer.  Wire transfer is the preferred method of payment.  All funds must clear before aircraft is released.  **If you pay the full amount of the aircraft within 48 hours, I will include a full load of fuel. That's 50 gallons of fuel at a cost of nearly $300.  So, if you want to save $300 on the purchase price, here's your chance.  

IF you arrive in Millington and find the plane to be anything less than what I described, I will refund your money and you will not be obligated to purchase.  I'm quite certain that will not happen and you will find this plane to be an outstanding aircraft and a great buy.

To answer one of the more common questions I've been receiving, YES, all logbooks are included.  Additionally, the logs and paperwork show that the previous owner was meticulous with a ton of upgrades, repairs and improvements over the last several years.

There was a bidder (xuivam) who thought it was fun to place bids, meet reserve, then cancel their bid, evidently not a serious buyer. I canceled all of his other bids and blocked him as a future bidder.
