This offer is for an authentic vintage Compass Amplifier Type 328 A-1 made by Collins Radio used in 1950-60's aircraft.
The purpose of this amplifier was to combine and compare signals from other components that comprise the magnetic compass system for use with the flight director systems, automatic flight control systems, and remote indicators.
The instrument is 'experienced' but still shows well. The photos show the front cover removed, exposing the front end rotating compass indicator and other electronics. Has been stored in an
environmentally controlled stockroom. Making
no claim of the ability to be put into air service.
