Up for sale is N714KX. A 1977 Cessna 150 with 220 smoh and 6705 ttaf. I bought her after a friend of mine keep talking about flying his friends 150. Anyway...I bought her on eBay over three years ago with about 50 or so smoh. I have enjoyed her for 3 years and it is time to move on to bigger things. In fact I bought a 182 with three other pilots over a year ago and it isn't practical to have two planes especially when someone could be building time with her. Please read carefully...I am trying to describe her as honestly as possible.
The interior and exterior are original and I would consider them to be about a 5. This is the last year the 150s were built and the colors are the red, white and blue scheme. She looks like a acrobatic plane but unfortunately she is not.
When I got her the starter was acting weird so I got a skytech installed - old starter included. I recently have the DG and altimeter rebuilt. There is also a tanis heater installed. Also had a rebuilt transponder.
The radio has a couple of bugs...there is a loose connect somewhere so sometimes you need to push it back in place and the VOR has a bug too. When the transponder was installed the tech told me it would cost about $500 to fix but I did not have the time deal with it and it was not that big of deal to me. If you plan to upgrade radios then not a problem. Also, has dual push to talk.
Log books...It comes with logs but some are missing. All of the airframe is there except for 3.5 years from 92 to 96. For the engine, there is January 95 and forward. In January 95 the engine was overhauled and was recently overhauled again.
Annual Due in April. All hi compressions.
