2007 VAN’S RV-6 AIRFRAME, 406 HOURS TTSNEW, IN ANNUAL, RIGHT GEAR COLLAPSED, MINOR DAMAGE ONLY, CHEAP!

THE RV-6 IS A 2 SEAT, SIDE BY SIDE, CONVENTIONAL GEAR KITBUILT AIRCRAFT THAT IS A JOY TO FLY, EASY TO MAINTAIN, FASTER THAN YOU WOULD THINK AND ABLE TO LEAP ANY BUILDING ON THIS PLANET!

CRUISE SPEED WITH THE TYPICAL 0-360 IS 199 MPH, 720 MILE RANGE, FULL FUEL, 2 PEOPLE AND BAGGAGE AT THE SAME TIME!

THIS AIRCRAFT WAS COMPLETED AND SIGNED OFF IN 2007.

406 HOURS TOTAL AIRFRAME TIME.

LOGBOOKS SINCE DAY ONE!

LAST ANNUAL CONDITION INSPECTION WAS JUST PERFORMED 4/2020!

THIS AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD ON THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DURING LANDING, WHICH FOLDED THE RIGHT GEAR PARTIALLY BACKWARD.

THE LOWERED STANCE ALLOWED THE RIGHT WING TO DRAG ON THE GRASS, WHICH PUT A SMALL WRINKLE IN THE OUTBOARD SKIN ON THAT WING.

THE SPAR ON THE RIGHT WING APPEARS COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED AND THERE IS NO SKIN DAMAGE EXCEPT THE OUTBOARD EDGE, SHOWN.

THE RIGHT FLAP AND AILERON ARE NOT DAMAGED.

THE RV-6 USES A LANDING GEAR MOUNT THAT IS A TUBULAR STRUCTURE INTEGRATED WITH THE ENGINE MOUNT THAT SIMPLY BOLTS TO THE FIREWALL.  THE GEAR TUBE IS BROKEN OUT OF THIS ASSEMBLY AND THERE IS A SMALL DENT IN THE RIGHT LOWER CORNER OF THE FIREWALL AND IN 1 SKIN OF THE BELLY FROM BEING PUSHED BY THE GEAR LEG.

AS THE GEAR MOUNTING STRUCTURE IS ALL EXTERNAL, THE GEAR DID NOT TEAR AWAY ANY INTERNAL STRUCTURE AS IT WOULD HAVE ON THE NOSEGEAR EQUIPPED AIRCRAFT.

THE DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT GEAR ON THIS AIRCRAFT WAS NOT THE RESULT OF A GROUNDLOOP, AS THEY OFTEN ARE, SO THIS AIRPLANE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DAMAGE TO ANY AREAS OUTSIDE THE WINGTIP AND RIGHT FIREWALL CORNER!

THE LEFT WING, FLAP, AILERON, TIP, STROBE AND LANDING GEAR ARE UNDAMAGED

THE FUSELAGE FROM FRONT TO REAR IS UNDAMAGED EXCEPT THE RIGHT FRONT LOWER CORNER ALREADY MENTIONED!

NO DAMAGE TO THE TAIL FEATHERS OR TAILCONE!

THIS AIRPLANE DID NOT FLIP OVER!

TAILWHEEL AND SPRING AND THE TAILWHEEL ATTACH AREA ARE UNDAMAGED!

NO DAMAGE TO THE UPPER OR LOWER COWL OR AIR INLET SCOOP!

INSIDE, THIS AIRPLANE IS VERY NICE, A STEP OR 2 ABOVE THE AVERAGE!

SUPER NICE LEATHER SEATS, WITH NICE BOLSTERS AND ADJUSTMENT WEDGES!

DUAL STICKS AND RUDDER PEDALS/TOE-BRAKES

A SUPER COMPLETE PANEL FULL OF VANS 2 ¼’ INSTRUMENTATION!!

AIRSPEED INDICATOR, TURN COORDINATOR AND ALTIMITER ARE FULL SIZED UNITS.

NO RADIOS ARE INCLUDED, YOU SHOULD PICK OUT WHAT YOU WANT!!

THE ONLY OTHER ITEM TO MENTION IS THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE CANOPY IS CRAKED AND THE REAR FRAME SIDES HAVE SLIGHT BUCKLES.  THIS WAS NOT ACCIDENT DAMAGE, IT IS PRESUMED THAT IT WAS DONE DURING THE INITIAL RECOVERY OFF THE GRASS RUNWAY.

THIS AIRCRAFT HAD A LYCOMING 0-360 DYNAFOCAL MOUNT ENGINE INSTALLED WITH A WOOD PROP.  THESE ITEMS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND ARE NOT INCLUDED HERE.

STILL INCLUDED WITH THE PROJECT ARE THE STUFF YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE FOR AN EASY INSTALLATION, INCLUDING:

THE COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM

ALL OF THE CUSTOM ENGINE BAFFLING

THE INTAKE AIRBOX ASSEMBLY

THE ENGINE WAS REMOVED BY UNBOLTING, NOT CUTTING, SO THE WIRING AND HOSES ARE INTACT!
