This landplane is the precursor to the Citabria. It has a 1650 lb. gross weight and has a higher useful load than the Citabria. The fabric is excellent, the engine is strong and the propeller is beautifully polished with an excellent profile. It has an ICOM IC-A22 VHF/VOR , a 2 place intercom and a gyro panel. The annual is current.
The no-bounce gear and hydraulic brakes make for easy controlled landings. The rear seat also has hydraulic brakes making for an excellent tailwheel checkout aircraft.
This 7GC is actually a 7HC (nosewheel) that was converted to a 7GC (tailwheel). The beauty of this Champ is the 140 HP engine and the 39 gallon fuel tanks. Both front and rear seats are adjustable, unlike earlier models.
Three cylinders recently serviced. It is currently being flown regularly so the times will be increasing slightly.
