1964 Aero Commander 500B AFTT 11,048.8
This aircraft has been government owned since it was purchased new by the United States Forest Service and operated by them until December of 2006 when ownership was transferred to a Sheriff’s Office.
The aircraft has a wonderful avionics stack that was installed in 2003 with some upgrades in 2009.
The aircraft has had excellent maintenance with detailed records on everything including complete wiring prints for all the modifications. No known damage history. The aircraft will seat a total of 7 people including the pilot. 1 middle seat is currently removed but is included in the sale along with another spare seat. Logbooks are complete with the exception of logbook #2 that cannot be located. The missing book only covers about a year and a half and is in the late 1960’s Logbooks, record and aircraft are available for inspection. Aircraft was in active service with no known airworthy issues prior to being removed from service at the end of February 2013.
