Clean airframe. Complete logbooks and paperwork since new. I have a tote of 337’s, factory paperwork, logbooks, and invoices - too much to list. Airframe completely gone through in 1979 by Seguin Aviation. Always hangared. Regularly flown. Paint 5, Interior 5. This airplane does have accident history.

In 2002 the aircraft had the left main gear collapse on a grass field landing in Florida. The aircraft turned off into a shallow culvert with brush causing the following damage: Left prop strike, right prop strike, damage to the nose cone, damage to the engine cowling, damage to the right wing tip. The repairs were done in compliance with the Piper Service manual. The aircraft received overhauled propellers L+R, overhauled engines L+R, a new Geronimo nose cone, and various other repair work to fix the cosmetic damage caused by the incident. Since the incident, the aircraft has flown almost 600 hours tach time. All repair work was professionally done and has proven to be satisfactory.

3285P’s avionics were gone through in 2015. Completely new avionics wiring from nose to tail. The aircraft received:

Garmin GMA340 Audio Panel/Intercom. Wired for 5 Place intercom, front and rear music inputs.

Apollo GX60 GPS/Comm. Certified for enroute, terminal, and non-precision approaches.

King KX155 Nav/Comm. With Glideslope.

King KI209 CDI.

Midcontinent MD65L GPS CDI w/ Annunciator

King KT76A Mode C Transponder.

While this is a basic stack of older avionics, it allows GPS direct, GPS non-precision approaches, ILS, VOR, DME, etc. The aircraft had a Century III autopilot which was removed due to lack of repairability.

In addition, N3285P has received an extensive amount of maintenance since 2014. This includes:

-Overhauled hydraulic power pack

-New engine hoses L+R

-Overhauled propeller governors L+R

-New right main fuel cell

-New left main fuel cell

-New engine control cables

-New heater glow-plug

-New engine baffles

-New electric tachs L+R

-New airspeed indicator

-New attitude indicator

-Overhauled turn coordinator

-JPI engine oil temperature gauges L+R

... And much more. All said and told, this aircraft received $70,000 in maintenance in the previous two years. The last annual ran me $550 - there was nothing left to fix.

Squawks - Cosmetic dents on the rudder. Paint chips. Right aux seeps a small amount of fuel when topped and left in the sun (bad cork seal on the fuel sender).

Simply put, this is a turn key twin engine aircraft. I wouldn't hesitate to fly this aircraft anywhere at any time. It is great in IFR conditions, it is a great training airplane, it is a good traveler. You can expect around 155Ktas on 18GPH total, or about 140MPH IAS on about 14GPH. This airplane will climb at gross on 1 engine. With two passengers and full fuel you can expect 1500FPM sustained on both. Extremely safe twin, very forgiving.

I spent a great deal of time and money making this airplane reliable and safe to fly to build multi-engine time. Whatever price you pay for this is a small fraction of what I will have invested in this aircraft.

Will deliver for gas.
