RAM Curved Extension Base with 1" ball.

This is used in some Garmin 295 and Aera mount applications, and turns out to be pretty handy for a lot of other things as well if you need some extra reach. Includes a 1" rubber ball, vulcanized to the powder-coated aluminum shank.

Allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. Originally designed to position your GPS in front of the yoke on your plane, the extension plate can also be used in many other applications.

The mounting section of the plate is 2.5" square and has predrilled holes for many different screw hole patterns including the universal AMPS hole pattern that fits all RAM-made cradles as well as the pattern on the factory bracket used with the Garmin 295 series.

Extends approximately 2.25" forward at a 45 degree angle, from the center of the 1" ball and approximately 1.5'' above the 1" ball (to the bottom of the connection section of the plate).

The bolt pattern also fits other RAM iPad, GPS, and most other cradles so the possibilities are endless.

These are overbuilt and carry a lifetime limited factory warranty. Proudly made in the USA.

We use RAM mounts for Garmin GPS receivers and iPads in our Washington, DC-based aircraft and they are the best mounts in the industry; rock-solid and with a lifetime factory warranty. They are MUCH better than the factory mounts that come from Garmin (which I think are pretty much junk....but that's just me).
