Oklahoma Aircraft Refinishes can take an aircraft and restore it to like factory new condition. From the finest workmanship found in the general aviation industry and utilizing some of the most state of the art paint and well as interior products allows for a superior finish, every time. Paint: Aircraft is thoroughly inspected and evaluated by our paint supervisor. A report is then issued to the owner of any abnormal defects in the aircraft, to include, antennas, windows, plastic, or fiberglass damage. OAR works with the owner to provide a custom computer rendering for the proposed aircraft scheme and design. Colors, schemes and design can be completed without traveling to our location. Once approved, the aircraft is prepped and then the desired stripping method is used (sand and paint or strip and paint). The aircraft (if stripped) is high pressure washed and then chemically neutralized to remove absolutely all residue. All control surfaces are removed, fairings, covers, and moldings is accomplished. All control surfaces are balanced IAW manufactures recommendations. The aircraft is prepped and then primed with an epoxy primer and all body work is completed to provide a factory smooth finish. Plastic or fiberglass parts are repaired if possible, or replaced is necessary. 3 costs of paint is applied and all new stainless steel screws are standard as well as new attaching hardware for all control surfaces, If desired, a base coat clear coat method of painting is available. Once completed, the aircraft is inspected by a part 145 Quality Control technician and then a logbook entry is made, with a return to service entry. Standard painting is base coat white and 2 colors. Available options include: Additional Colors, Clear coat, Split scheme design (two or more base colors), door jams and frames (no charge when done with interior), upgrades to the air frame (speed fairings ect), erosion boots, The base price begins at $8,500.00 and is for a standard single engine aircraft paint process (Cessna 172, Piper PA-28, Beechcraft Sundowner, Cirrus) and will vary depending on aircraft condition and options selected.
