TKM MX 12 - Direct slide in replacement for the Narco MK12, 12A, 12B, 12DR'
Good radio but the receive circuit needs repair. Can receive with low volume when the 'test' (squelch), button is depressed. Transmits fine.
These radios are being manufactured again by TKM Avionics - Arizona, and can be repaired there.
This is the description from their website:

Easy 25kHz spacing tuning knobs allow you to choose a frequency to enter – and simple press to flip-flop buttons let you move standby to active in a split second.

You can remove your legacy unit in minutes, clean connectors with a non-toxic solvent (if needed) and install your new TKM navcomm legally in 20 seconds.
