1962 Schleicher K7 2-place glider project for sale.
Imported in 2008. Last annual Sept 2013.
Was involved in off field landing and now requires repairs.
Most of the repair involves plywood and fabric. No apparent spar damage, but please come inspect as I am NOT a "wood" guy.
The wings mount up as pictured, but one of the small pins doesn't quite go in. The upper cage needs to be spread approx 3/16", please see last picture.
Canopies will need rebuilt or replaced as well. Replacement canopies are avail in USA.
Fuselage, horizontal stab, elevators, rudder, and ailerons recovered 03/07/2013.
Log books, POH, airworthiness certificate, and bill of sale included.
No trailer included, but there is a one built for this glider available in NC.
I can store it for 2 months at no charge if it is paid for in full. Storage after 60 days will be $5 per day, or $100 per month.
A non-refundable down payment of $500 is due within 48hrs of auction closing. Balance is due within 7 days unless previous arrangements are made.
This is a no reserve auction, so bid to buy it.
I have it for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to cancel all bids and end early to sell locally.
