Up for sale is this 1940 example of the Porterfield Collegiate CP-65 "Skinny Bird" with a fresh annual, completed February 2015. This aircraft was purchased from a vintage flying aircraft collection and is now nestled in next to warbirds at the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. She underwent a muti-year restoration in 1993 inclusive of period accurate cotton doping stretched over her airframe. The plane is in the correct livery and paint format down to the oversize "N" number placement. The plane was then stored inside a hangar for the next 16 years. She was gone through completely in 2010/2011 and repainted. A new prop was installed in April 2012.
