1982 Cessna T182 Skylane II Fixed Gear with factory 4 place oxygen. Only 237 182's were produced in 1982 and less than 100 were fixed gear. This one is going to be the only one in existence in this condition with this total time. This is truly a one of a kind airplane. Are you looking for a BRAND NEW Cessna 182 Turbo at 1/2 the price? Look no further; this is a true barn find and the lowest total time T182 in the world with only 375 TT hours. This airplane has wet wings and an 88 gallon fuel capacity. The 182 is a work horse and has a useful load that will allow for four adults, fuel and baggage that is way better than a 172. The service ceiling is 22,000 feet and with the turbo you can land at any airport in the world for the most part. If you are not familiar with a turbo charged aircraft, what it means is that you can maintain sea level manifold pressure at any altitude, so departing at a lower altitude airport, you only need about half throttle and as you climb you increase throttle to maintain that same pressure. The airplane flys the same at 10,000 feet as it does at sea level. I can climb out at 1,200 FPM and maintain that same performance all the way up to my cruise altitude. With a normally aspirated airplane, the higher you fly, the less power you have. I bought this gorgeous airplane in November 2009 and have had her for almost 5 years now. I am the second owner and the original owner had her hangar’d in El Monte, CA and now still in southern CA so in a hangar and in Southern California all of her life. Take a close look at the pictures and you will find that she has the original paint which is a 10 and the interior is also a 10. I had the wheel pants painted a couple of years ago to match the paint scheme and to add some color to them, other than that everything is original except for upgrades listed. 

I have gone through this entire airplane with a fine tooth comb and she is perfect in every way. I evaluated and overhauled and or calibrated every instrument so they worked perfectly. I am a true perfectionist and like everything to work the way it should. The auto pilot is the factory NAV-300 with heading bug. The entire interior was removed and all plastics painted. All the screws are new, all the blue vinyl was replaced and the interior has been restored to original NEW condition. Here is a short list of everything that has been done to the airplane.

Ey.   Panel eyebrow covered in black aircraft grade leather with Ferrari style French stitch along front edge, very nice! 

All annual inspections have great compression's and the motor has had the oil analyzed twice with no issues whatsoever. When I acquired her she had 263 TT and now 375 TT, this is TT on everything and the original motor being the  235 HP Turbo. Other than the six rocker cover gaskets that were changed, the motor is 100% solid and dry with no issues at all. My A&P said I should easily expect full TBO out of this motor which is 2000 hours.

You are welcome to conduct a pre-purchase inspection; I challenge you to find anything that she needs. Next Annual is due in January 2015 I believe. This is the nicest airplane I have ever flown, the 182 has been touted as the best airplane that Cessna has ever produced and when you fly this airplane you will know why. I absolutely love this airplane and selling her is with a heavy heart, but I just don’t fly enough anymore to justify the upkeep and storage etc… You can find a 1980’s model 182 for less money, but you will never find one like this. I realize that my pricing for this airplane is more than any other 1980's model 182 on the market, and my answer to that is, "of course it is" because it's the nicest 182 you will ever find, so you should expect to pay more for it. There are other financial reasons to purchase this airplane over a 90's model restart, first off is insurance, I am not sure what a newer model will cost for a policy, but I only pay $1,100.00 per year, plus in 2 years this airplane will be considered a classic and you will not have to pay property tax which will save you about $1,5000.00 per year. Please don't send me low ball offers, I am willing to look at any reasonable offer, but I know what I have here, which is the only one on the planet in this condition. The person who buys this airplane will understand how much a new airplane costs and compare it to this one. I would truly compare this to a new airplane at double the price. I have ALL logs from day one, no damage history of any kind. This airplane has never even had a hard landing. When I got this airplane, she didn't need much and everything I did was purely to enhance the quality of the airplane to make her even more pristine than she already was.
