I just took this Vagabond in trade from a friend of mine. It has been on our strip for 5+ years. I'm selling the Vagabond without the engine, Prop, accessories and the Grove disc brakes. The aircraft will come with all the front cowling and engine mount, the mount was new from Univair 8 years ago. The a/c is in very good condition and is in annual until November. The a/c is still all together so if you want to take a ride in her I can arrange that. The fabric is all Ceconite and is in good shape, most of the a/c was covered in the late 80's. It will come with good original brakes and good 800X4 tires. I will leave the Grove brakes on it for the price of the kit or if someone uses the "Buy it now" option I will throw them in. It is flying with a C85-12 now and is all approved so you can go back to the A65 or C85. The Vagabond is a good little airplane and all you will need to fly is your engine, prop, exhaust and accessories. The plane has newer sealed lift struts and comes with a intercom and ELT. We hate to see the little bird go but we have 3 Vagabonds and I need the engine on this one for my J-3. Here is your chance to get into the air very reasonable. Also forgot to mention there is no damage history and has very nice logs back to 1952. The plane also has dual controls and bungee landing gear. I may be able to deliver this for cost in my enclosed trailer to the Midwest in the next couple of weeks on my way to Oshkosh.
