This version of the KN-53 does contain an internal Glideslope Receiver.

This quality unit features 200 NAV channel capability, and the standard easy-to-read King gas discharge display. The display dims automatically in lower light levels.

Other King KN-53 features include:While this version of the KN-53 may be used a VOR/LOC Indicator, you will obviously want to use a Glideslope-capable Indicator to take advantage of that feature. These are the appropriate King indicators with an internal VOR/LOC Converter:The KN-53 may also be used with an HSI (King's KCS-55A System, for example) with a remote KN-72 VOR/LOC Converter.
