We have for sale a Auto pilot system with Navaid auto pilot head unit with EZ Pilot roll axis servo and aileron control actuator assembly. Recently removed from a 2000 Velocity 173 experimental aircraft in working order. P/N's as follows autopilot AP-1, aileron control VBAC-01 with Autrol motor, Tri Avionics servo with 12 vdc 8312E347 Pittman motor and arm assembly missing rod eyelet end. Components look in good shape no major wear overall exterior shows some overspray on servo nd aileron bracket. Auto pilot is nice and clean bright display and knobs turn smooth. Navaid's AP-1 puts an autopilot in your cockpit, designed for light aircraft the AP-1 is the favourite choice for kit and home-build aircraft. Three position mode switch, RIGHT wing leveler mode, keeps wings level by reference to the built-in gyro in this mode you can fly level, turn left, or turn right with the turn control dial. Middle turn coordinator this position lets you fly without the autopilot, but with the turn coordinator working. LEFT track mode, to track to or from a destination entered into a GPS, LORAN or VOR. Autopilot TRIM CONTROL Trims the ailerons for straight-line flight when the TURN CONTROL is set to a zero turn rate. RATE OF TURN INDICATOR Electronically lighted bars indicate the rate of turn. The centre reference bar stays lit. Additional bars lit to either side of reference bar indicate turn rate: Vi degree per second for each light. TURN CONTROL When the airplane is in the Wing Leveler Mode, this dial turns the airplane left or right. TRIM POTS These trimpots are used to match the autopilot to your aircraft. Once these pots are adjusted (details in the owner's manual) further changes should not be necessary. INCLINOMETER Old fashioned "ball" coordinated turn or level flight indicator.We ship world wide at buyers expense and offer a 30 day warranty Unless being sold as-is.
