VHF AIR BAND TRANSCEIVER (NAV & COM channels) The ICOM IC-A24 is the transceiver of choice when it comes to simplifying procedure in the air. With simple handheld use and is a large keypad, the IC-A24 is extremely easy for pilots to operate. Alphabetical and numerical information is displayed on a large screen so that frequencies can be recognized quickly. The backlit display and keypad will stay illuminated until you no longer need it, which extremely useful for night flying. Recall your previous channels fast with the IC-A24. It will store your previous 10 channels and you can rapidly switch back to them with a key conveniently located right on the panel.

IC-A24 VOR navigation:

VOR navigation functions come standard with the IC-A24. View the radial to or from a VOR station using the DVOR mode, or use CDI mode to see course deviation. Program the radial you’d like to choose to/from the VOR station and the course deviation will appear on the display. Dual operation gives you the ability to use VOR navigation and call a COM channel simultaneously.
