This unit is being sold "not working" for parts or repair. I  used this unit in my airplane for several years and it worked very well. The internal non-volatile memory battery was replaced last winter and the new battery has a life of 7 years or more.

This GPS now has a very curious fault.  It powers up and acquires satellites and seems to work fine until the secondary knob is turned to "SETUP" and then it shuts off completely.  It goes through all the normal diagnostics during power up and reports all is OK.  I have fiddled with it some but it still displays that fault and I have no way to diagnose or repair it.

Hence, it is being sold "AS-IS" in the hope that someone can swap a part or a board and use it.

This receiver comes with a data card (Jan 08).
