1974 BAC Jet Provost Mk.5ATTAF 7063 Engine TSMOH 1711, 2000Hr TBO, or more depending on who you talk with. Rolls Royce Viper 202 Cleveland Brakes, Battery upgrade to give more power for starting without a GPU, (I never start it with a GPU, has 2 batteries). New tires and batteries 2015, Very nice paint, hangared most of it's life, my ownership has been in climate controlled hangar. GPS, Transponder, 2 coms, Dynon EFIS, Pressurized, A/C, Just had the condition inspection done, so it's due August 2018. VNE: Sea level to 10,000' 400Knots, above 10,000' Mach.73 Approach speed on final: 95 Knots, Gross weight: 8,400 lbs Fuel Burn: at 18,000'=155 gal/hr in cruise Flying below 2000' at 250Knts= 214 gal/hr Full throttle (Max takeoff power) 445 gal/hr Range, starting at sea level and climbing to 18,000' = 500 nautical miles. T.O. distance, full fuel at 4000' runway elevation=2000-3750' (3750' is with a +30 C temp) the above numbers are less with lower elevation fields. Landing distance, 1/2 fuel @ 4000' elevation= 2400' ground roll with +30 C temp. Again less at lower field elevations. I hope this helps, John |
