Up for auction is a 1940 Taylorcraft BL65 with only 305SMOH and 1925TT. It's A&P owned, well taken care of and you can't make it burn more than 4GPH. All metal tubing is in great shape as are the wooden spars. Has very recent new sealed struts so you no longer have to deal with that AD. Everything on it works as it should including the original Tach and decent mechanical brakes. Fabric is Stitts and in very good shape, finish on it looks very presentable but is older. This is a great affordable pre-war antique and has surprising performance for the horsepower and fuel burn. I encourage you to come out and see the airplane in person. Why buy a cub when you can buy a Taylorcraft for less money and sit next to your honey? Wheel pants are fiberglass and just sitting on tires in the photos. The brackets for them need to be made up and were my next project but I've decided to sell it to fund another airplane project. I can probably help relocate the a/c or take it apart and ship over seas in a shipping container but it is very important that you contact me firs about this before bidding.
