I was able to power test the unit on 7/30/15, and as you can see in the new photo, it lights up. Also hooked up a mic to the unit and was able to transmit. The first digit of the top right display screen (COMM Standby) doesn't light up the middle LED hash--as you can see the digit 4 is missing the middle hash. That's as far as I've tested it. This is for the unit only, and includes no cables or brackets. No manual and no warranty. SOLD AS-IS
The MX-170B is designed to be electrically and mechanically interchangeable with the KX170 series of NAV-COMM's. The channeling outputs are for 40 channel glide slope (King Glide Slope) and 200 channels (King Slip Code). The MX170B operates on 13.75vdc with 7Adc maximum current in transmit.
