PMA4000 AUDIO SELECTOR PANEL WITH FOUR PLACE INTERCOM
After buying this audio panel we found a loose wire on the audio panel already in my V Tail Beech. Fixed that so I now have an extra audio panel that would be much better off filling the need it was intended for instead of setting on a shelf in my hanger. It has never been wired up and the connectors package is unopened. If you have ever used a voice actuated intercom you know how well they work. This is a panel mounted unit with four place intercom capability. It has an isolate switch so the pilot can use the radios while everyone else still has intercom and input music available. Transmit can be switched to either com radio and you can turn on either or both receivers. It has the soft mute feature for the music if radio or intercom is in use. In the off mode or power failure the pilot is connected directly to the com radio. The independant volume controls for the pilot/copilot intercom are separate from radio volume controls. It has an amplifier to switch radios and audio input to the cabin speaker by pushing the volume control.
