This very sweet 250 I have owned since 1995. I had the engine majored in 1997 and all 1950 TSMO hours on the LYC O-540 are mine.
This plane has all logs and maintenance history including before I bought it. I can no longer fly and this aircraft is out of annual with the current one expired Nov. 2015. It is based at KSDL. The engine runs fine. I can respond with emails to send you a Feb 2016 certified appraisal of $34,000.
I also have the STC listing of desirable upgrades speed mods and other equipment legally added incl dual exhaust and alternator, Shadin fuel totalizer, EI GEM, electronic tach, stand by vac. Most Lopresti mods except cowl - flap and gap seals, wing root fairings, speed spats. 3 blade prop.
I need to sell due to medical reasons and am seeking reasonable offer or immediate sale, given that it needs to be annualed. My A&P/AI is located in Phoenix at KDVT and has done the last 6 annuals. He is willing to annual this plane for a new buyer on his availability . Cost estimate is $1500 based on all priors he has done. Ferry off base field to any location is buyer's responsibility . KDVT is a 10 min hop from KSDL. I invite questions. I have loved this plane and taken her all over the USA and Mexico for the last 20 plus years. Paint and interior both done 2004. Tail AD has not been done but is not yet required based on time. Gear AD is due in 50 hours. All other ADs are complied. Bungees to be done with annual. 500 hour or 3 year compliance.
The FAA FSDO is located on site at KSDL and can issue a ferry permit to wherever one wants to move her. This is a straight honest plane. I'm going to miss her terribly. Winning buyer to make non refundable deposit, instructions/terms as given herein, within 3 days auction close [buy it now] or offer received, to give reasonable inspection time , with balance due in another 7 days giving more reasonable inspection time. Seller will provide FAA bill of sale form and endorse change of owner FAA new registration form [pink slip] at time of full payment. Buyer obtains FAA change in registration form from FSDO or FAA in OK city. Note - cannot be downloaded and takes a few days by mail. suggest any interested buyer order a blank form now.
