This MAC 1700 NAV/COM was removed from my Cessna 172M. This was listed and sold back in November 2016, but it was damaged in shipping. The buyer returned the unit and FedEx offered partial compensation for their part in the damage.
VISIBLE DAMAGE: Please note the connector unit is partially nudged in on the right-hand side. There may be hidden damage inside the box, but I have not opened it.
YOU ARE BUYING THIS UNIT AS-IS. BY BIDDING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT MAY CONTAIN HIDDEN DAMAGE INSIDE THE METAL BOX.
When I removed the unit in October, it would power on and the microphone would key; HOWEVER, all you could hear was static on both the Com and Nav. I am not an A&P. An FAA CRS with proper manuals may be able to fix this. If not, it can always be used for parts. Please ask any questions before bidding.
THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OFFERED FOR THIS UNIT UNLESS IT ARRIVES DIFFERENTLY THAN PICTURED.
