You are looking at a very nice 1980 Beechcraft Sundowner C23.
This is a rare Aerobatic version which includes the strakes on the engine cowling, horizontal stabilizer and on the fuselage below the vertical fin. The cabin doors are also designed to be jettisoned in an emergency however the pins special hinge pins that allow the doors to be jettisoned are currently not installed.
2012. Aircraft paint stripped and aircraft repainted. Base color white with red and blue aerobatic checker design. In addition, interior plastic painted tan with all seats and interior panels recovered in blue and tan leather. Seats recovered with blue and tan aerobatic checker design with embroidered Beechcraft logo. All four Seat locations have shoulder harnesses. Rosen Sun Visors installed. New shock discs installed in both MLG. New fiberglass tail cone, stabilizer tips, dorsal fin. New Airtex carpet. New pilot side window. All heating and ventilation scatt hose replaced with new hose.
Oct 2013. Instrument panel modified and reconfigured. All original Beechcraft primary engine instruments removed and replaced with Electronics International MVP50 Engine Monitoring System. Instrument panel reconfigured with the following avionics equipment:-
Garmin 340 audio panel
Garmin 430 GPS / Com / Nav
Garmin 300 XL GPS / Com
2 x Garmin GI 106 indicators
Garmin GTX 327 Transponder
STec 50 Auto Pilot
Stormscope
MVP 50 Engine Monitor Display
Last IFR SAT inspection completed

Last Engine overhaul by Penn Yan in Feb 1997
2013 installed Challenger Air Filter System. All new Scatt hose and engine rubber baffling. Installed overhauled carburetor.
2014 replace ignition switch and both magneto harnesses. Replaced LH magneto with new. Removed, overhauled and reinstalled RH magneto.
2015 installed new Slick Start ignition boost system.
Nov 2015 Last Annual. Engine compression check with engine hot #1 76/80 #2 76/80 #3 76/80 #4 80/80
The above listed items is a small amount of the work that has been completed on this aircraft. The aircraft will be sold with a new Annual Inspection.
