The only reason we replaced the transponder was to get the new features of ADS-B. It has been a totally reliable and easy-to-use transponder. The best feature is that it automatically starts squawking once you're airborne, without having to worry about it. Full of nifty features such as one-button VFR code, several built-in timers, and 200W power. If you're living outside of airspace that will require ADS-B, you can fly forever with this transponder. Or just fly with it until 2020, or keep it as a backup. If you have an older tube-type transponder, you'll be very happy with solid state reliability and power.

The transponder is in perfect working and cosmetic condition, and comes with the tray, back plate, and electrical connector hardware.
