Item for sale is a portable intercom system for an aircraft, Manufactured in the US by Softcomm, Model ATC-4S. This is a 4 place portable intercom system.
Item is powered by batteries and/or an auxiliary lighter plug adapter. The Auxiliary power cord is included in box.
Has a cable for connecting both pilot and co-pilot PTT switches to intercom. Unit also has a push to talk button on the unit.
Unit has an audio in and an audio out jack for connection to a recording device or for connecting to any device that has a headphone jack. This will let you record clearances, ATC and conversations during flight or you can connect to a device to play music while flying. (1 Cable for audio is also included still in the original bag)-Unit will automatically reduce music volume, anytime a conversation or radio call is taking place.
Unit has a volume and Squelch control knob on the front.
Item was purchased for use with a flying clubs aircraft which had an older C-172 and did not have an installed 4 place intercom. Unfortunately business when under after I completed my training and I never got to use. Have been holding onto it but just taking up space and figured that it can go to another pilot that can use it rather then just sitting.
