StormScope is a thunderstorm locator used in substitution for radar equipment to perform this function, but does not detect clouds. Most IFR equipped aircraft have both units installed in order to have a better weather picture. Can be installed in 12 or 24 VDC aircrafts. Many shops can bench check it for less than $100.00. I'm selling at a low price so you can budget in case there is a need for any needed repair.
