This is a unique aircraft that represents the best of the early V tail Bonanzas. Lovingly cared for and maintained, N169P flies at 145 knots / 168 MPH on 11.5 gallons per hour.
I do not know of a speed modification or upgrade that has not been completed for N169P. 3/8 glass all around with speed slope windshield, custom panel and 15 gallon tip tanks all by D’Shannon. Also we're rolling with Cleveland Brakes.
N169P is one sweet flying fast V-Tail bird with the light airframe, reduced drag, and the E-185 upgrade rated as 205 HP for the first 5 minutes on departure. In Fla, I just use the extra HP on the takeoff roll...
Avionics include GNS-430(non WAAS), coupled to STEC-50 an amazing pairing that will take you down the GPS approach to 200' and fly's the skies like a L-1011.
Add in the GNS-327 Transponder, PMA-8000 Intercom (pre-wired for Bose jacks), KNS-80 RNAV , KY-97 Comm, vertical card compass, all instruments illuminated (no post lights) for some panel highlights. (The KNS-80 in one of the pics was replaced with a newer unit).
D'Shannon Tip Tanks hold 15 gal each, so usuable is at 68 Gal - 168 MPH @ 11.5 GPH
All the goodies, dual Ram Horn yoke with Pilot Elec trim & A/P disengage / co-pilot PTT.
Interior is in super great like new shape, paint is in good condition (Shines) and does show some Normal wear.
Custom cover just redone in April, custom cowl plugs and pitot cover included. Artic Air cooling unit included and aircraft wired for back seat use with kill switch on panel.
