THIS IS THE NEATEST LOOKING AIRCRAFT PAINT JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN !!

I HAVE SEEN CARS PAINTED WITH COLOR CHANGING PAINT, WITH A VARIETY OF OUTCOMES, NOT ALL GREAT.

THIS AIRPLANE IS STANDARD WHITE, BUT THE COLOR CHANGING STRIPES, IN A MODERN SWISH SCHEME, ARE JUST PERFECT!  NOT TOO MUCH COLOR, AS IS THE CASE WITH A WHOLE CAR, AND YET ENOUGH SURFACE AREA SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY SEE THE COLOR CHANGE !!

STRIKING !!

YOU WILL MOT SEE ANOTHER LIKE THIS AROUND YOUR LOCAL AIRPORT !!

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS, THE STRIPES HAVE ABOUT 7 DIFFERENT SHADES AND COLORS, AND AS YOU WALK BY THE AIRPLANE (OR IF IT WAS TAXIING PAST YOU, YOU GET THE WHLE SHOW !!

THE PAINT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION ALL AROUND

THE TOTAL TIME ON THE AIRPLANE IS SUPER LOW, BELOW 3,000 HOURS !!

THE 0-300D 6 CYLINDER CONTINENTAL ENGINE HAS ONLY 466 SMOH (1800 TBO) AND THE CYLINDERS INSTALLED WERE BRAND NEW, NOT OVERHAULED, AT THE MAJOR.

THE INTERIOR MIGHT BE ORIGINAL, BUT IF SO IT SHOWS THE KIND OF CARE THIS AIRPLANE HAS RECEIVED, AS IT IS IN SUPER NICE SHAPE !  SEATS, SIDE PANELS AND PLASTICS ALL LOOK GOOD.

SHOULDER HARNESS HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR SAFETY

THE INSTRUMENT PANEL IS 100% COMPLETE, WITH ALL GYROS, FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION

THE NAV-COMMS AND INDICATORS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, AND ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT THE KING AUDIO PANEL WITH MARKERS AND THE NARCO ADF SYSTEM SHOWN ARE INCLUDED, AND A SIGTRONICS 4 PLACE INTERCOM SYSTEM IS INSTALLED AND INCLUDED.

THIS AIRPLANE SUFFERED DAMAGE DURING A FREAK OCCURRENCE.

WHILE WAITING IN LINE TO TAKE OFF, THIS AIRPLANE WAS LIFTED ON THE LEFT SIDE BY A JET RUNNING UP !!

THATS GOT TO BE A LITTLE SCARY !

THE RIGHT WINGTIP LEADING EDGE TOUCHED THE GROUND, AND BOTH PROP TIPS HIT THE TAXIWAY BEFORE THE AIRPLANE CAME BACK DOWN.  THE AIRPLANE DID NOT FLIP OVER, OR COLLAPSE THE GEAR, OR IN GENERAL SUSTAIN ANY DAMAGE OTHER THAN THE RIGHT WING AND THE PROP.

WHAT A RIDE I BET THAT WAS!

THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT EVERYTHING ELSE EXCEPT THOSE TWO THINGS ARE UNDAMAGED, AND IN VERY NICE, FAR BETTER THAN AVERAGE SHAPE !!

NO DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING, FLAP AILERON OR TIP

NO DAMAGE TO THE FUSELAGE, BELLY, FIREWALL, COWLING, OR DOORS

NO DAMAGE TO THE TAIL OR TAIL FEATHERS

ALL OF THE GLASS LOOKS GOOD, BUT IM AFRAID THE WINDSHIELD HAS A HUNK OUT OF IT NEAR THE LEFT UPPER EDGE, AND WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT.

THE ENGINE DOES NOT HAVE ANY PHYSICAL DAMAGE AT ALL !!

THE EXHAUST, DOWNTUBES AND BAFFLING LOOK GOOD.

THE ENGINE HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH SLICK MAGS, A REMOTE OIL FILTER ADAPTER, AND AN ALTERNATOR CONVERSION

DUE TO THE PROP TIPS HITTING THE PAVEMENT, THE ENGINE WILL REQUIRE AN INSPECTION, BUT THE ENGINE WAS AT IDLE, NOT UNDER POWER, AND OF COURSE A MAJOR IS NOT INDICATED OR REQUIRED, AS THE ENGINE HAS MORE THAN 3/4 OF IT'S DESIGN LIFE LEFT !!

THE WINGTIP DAMAGE IS JUST TO THE FAR OUTBOARD LEADING EDGE SKIN, WHICH WAS DESIGNED TO BE EASY TO REPLACE, BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE MOST IMPACTS HAPPEN, SO THIS IS A SMALL REPAIR.  THE FIBERGLASS DROOP WINGTIP IS REALLY ONLY HURT A LITTLE AND WILL REPAIR.

AS YOU CAN SEE, WE DISASSEMBLED THIS AIRPLANE FOR TRANSPORT (PROFESSIONALLY AND CAREFULLY) AND ALL PARTS ARE INCLUDED, AND THE AIRPLANE IS READY TO TRAILER.

WHEN WE INSPECTED THE RIGHT WING WHILE OFF, WE FOUND SOME WRINKLES IN THE TOP SKIN.  I KNOW THEY AREN'T GOING TO SHOW UP WELL, AS THEY WERE DIFFICULT FOR ME TO FIND, AND I AM AN EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL, BUT THERE IS SOME DEFORMATION ON THE TOP.  I TRIED TO POINT TO THESE AREAS IN ONE PHOTO USING BLACK LINES.

I HAVE KNOW WAY OF KNOWING IF THIS DEFORMATION IS NEW, OR IF THE AIRPLANE HAS BEEN FLYING LIKE THIS FOR A LONG TIME, AS I NEVER SAW IT BEFORE, SO I WANTED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT IT.

THE PROP WILL NOT REPAIR, SO THAT WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT (AVAILABLE USED FROM US OR OTHERS, OR OVERHAULED FROM MANY SOURCES), AND THE WING CAN BE REPAIRED (BY YOUR SHOP OR MECHANIC, OR ONE OF THE BIG WING SHOPS) OR EVEN REPLACED FOR ABOUT $3,000 IF YOU WANT TO GO THE FAST ROUTE.
