This is a genuine Northrop Grumman spur gear, part number 1854781 (NSN 3020-00-324-3456). New old stock, still protected in the original packaging.
It features a large outer gear with a substantial tooth count for smooth, precise operation, plus an integrated smaller pinion gear on the hub. Designed as a critical component in the AN/BPS-15/16 navigation and search radar systems found on Ohio-class (Trident) ballistic missile submarines.
