The G5 is not for certified aircraft unless it has an STC from Garmin that can cost about $500. All bidders are encouraged to look into that. I read that it is used for both experimental aircraft and certified but needed the STC paperwork to be legal in certified aircraft. When you put the serial number in eBay it comes up saying certified. Do your due diligence before bidding.
