This GNS 480 (S/N 25701463) was operational when removed earlier this summer during an extensive panel upgrade. Unit includes the tray, rear wiring plate, pilot guide, quick reference guide, instructional/demo/product CDs, SanDisk database card reader, two data cards, flight manual supplements, service bulletins, several release certificates (8130s). Introduced in 2004/05 as the first certified WAAS GPS unit. An all-in-one GPS, COMM and moving map capability. It's form factor and buttonology has a large fan base and many claim it's as, or more intuitive than the newer more popular 430/530 series. I found it very useful and logical. My unit was installed in 2005 and I purchased my airplane in 2008. It's been regularly serviced/updated...last time in Feb 2024.
