This was installed and operating normally immediately prior to removal in a 1983 Piper Saratoga, PA32-301, N8310H  

It was professionally removed by Cincinnati Avionics at I69 in Clermont County Ohio.  This was part of a complete Garmin G3x/ GTN Xi / GFC 500 avionics upgrade.

The unit was removed because of the avionics upgrade, not because of any known problem.

It was functioning normally when removed.

This is a working aircraft removal and has not been subsequently bench tested.
