I thought I would test these someday, but someday never comes.  Now I don't know if I'll ever get around "to it" and if it's really worth it for these radios? They look really cool and RARE! Smuggling may have been involved? They're taking up my shelf space. I've sorted them out. I'm not taking the time to figure out to test them so I'll have to sell them as not working only cuz I don't want to take returns but there is a chance these units could work my dad worked on these throughout his whole career his whole life of 60 years in aviation.
