Appareo Stratus 2i ADSB Receiver. This model is designed to be semi-permanently mounted in the the aircraft with the Stratus ES/ESG as the GPS source - it does not have its own battery. Please check the Pilot Guide and Installation Manual available on the Appereo to confirm the this is suitable for your application. Included is the full installation kit as depicted in the photgraph, including the mounting tray. I upgraded to the 3i model because I wanted compatibility with other software besides Forflight.
"Stratus 2i (hereinafter referred to as “receiver”) is a portable receiverthat works in conjunction with the ForeFlight Mobile app. It providespilots with subscription-free in-flight weather and traffic and is a sourceof accurate Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) GPS position. Itreceives Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) weatherinformation (FIS-B), traffic information (TIS-B), and other related data andbroadcast it to ForeFlight Mobile via a Wi-Fi network.It is also an attitude heading reference system (AHRS), flight datarecorder, and pressure altitude sensor.This receiver is classified as a Portable Electronic Device (PED) andcomplements the instrument panel in your aircraft. If there is a discrepancybetween a receiver and the instrument panel, use the readings on yourinstrument panel."
