The factory screws ( item 4 in the drawing) are made from fairly soft steel. You'll find the screws’ shafts will have large notches (as shown in the picture), from vibration against the wobbler bracket during flight.

This contributes to more slop and free play in the gills mechanism, further accelerating wear.

You’ll need a 3mm Allen key to install these new hardened gill screws. There’s no need to crank down tightly on them - this could risk stripping the thread in the aluminum control ring.

The last picture shows an example of our hardened replacement gill screw which had been in place for 500 hours and is only just starting to show some fretting on the shank.
