The Garmin SL30 NAV/COMM Radio is in excellent as removed condition with a perfect screen exhibiting no delamination and all pixels lighting up. It was removed during an avionics upgrade.
The SL30 was designed to work with the included free DB30 DME Interface with RMI and ARINC 429.
This SL30 comes with a tray and connectors.
The SL30 NAV/COMM and DB30 DME Interface together offers reliable navigation and communication capabilities for aircraft. It is compatible with all recent and current Garmin displays including the new AXIS suite and is listed as such on the Garmin website for the AXIS suite.
The SL30 is a reliable proven slimline radio that despite its age still offers capabilities comparable with the new Garmin GNC215 and in a similar slimline form factor.
The SL30 remains a a viable option as a reliable #1 or #2 NAV/COMM and this one comes with the interface so you can continue to use your King DME (such as the KN64).
