Up for grabs is a cosmetically beautiful 14V KX 155 TSO Nav/COMM that worked reliably right up to removal for a panel upgrade in my late 1970s Cherokee. Shot an ILS approach to minimums just before pulling it; zero issues with either the unit or the approach. :)
The original screen flickered in 2020 so I sent it to a repair depot for display replacement and unit refresh. It has flickered only once in the years since, on the early morning flight of a 19 degrees Fahrenheit winter day. No issues before or since, and I used it confidently as Comm 1 and for frequent ILS/VOR navigation. Faceplate is so clean and crisp that it looks like a new unit. I go out of my way to take good care of things.
