TKM MX12 NAV/COMM - 14V/28V - With Tray and Connectors - Tested Working - 90 Day Warranty
The TKM MX-12 is built to directly replace the Narco MK-12A and MK-12B NAV/COMM units. Unlike the older Narco models, it features an updated internal design that eliminates the need for the separate remote power unit. This results in a lighter, cooler, and simpler installation with improved reliability. That said, installing the MX-12 typically involves a bit more setup than other TKM slide-in replacements.
According to the TKM manual: "Since the remote Power Unit of the MK12A is no longer required, the existing cable to the Power Unit must be disconnected and the adapter plug supplied with the MX-12 must be inserted where the Power Unit was removed."
This adapter plug is included with the unit along with tray and connectors.
