Bendix/King HSI KI525A and KG 102A gyrocompass system.
Removed working driving Century Auto-Pilot on a 421.
KG102A gyro spooled quickly, no harmonic whining and coasted for 15 min after power was removed. Gyro last overhauled in 2000 by JDC of Round Rock TX. Tamper seals still in place.
KI525A smooth operation and clear lens and all flags worked, that I verified with a IFR4000 test set driving the GNS430(not included)
Comes with all piece pictured, and that's all. All 6 Connectors are solider cups, no need to worry about pins and crimpers.
I ran a functional check on this with the customer before I removed it, flying and auto pilot engaged. It all functioned as designed.
My functional check is not an 8130. I do try to perform functional test before removal and selling, and will state if I did such test.
