One interesting little wartime "tilt Indicator" meter as made by Simpson. About 2" in size, you'd have found this on a variety of early radar compomnents like the APS 3. APS -23 R-31 receiver and the APS-15 / R-78 and probably several others.

No fance data plates or maker's nomenclature on this thing. It's just an odd little 2" meter made to be mounted sideways and the face denotes UP and DOWN in 0 - 20 degree measures with calibratio marks at 5 degrees. Once you've seen it on an early piece of radar gear you'll remember it.

Un-tested by us. Black plastic case. Nice little meter. Probably came from a scrapped set. Nice white face - nice black graphics. No p/n on the instrument face - just patent data. That slight discoloration may have been from moisture inside the case that settled on glass. I can't see any face plate paint damage or discoloration on the painted surfaces.

Nice vintage instrument - a great panel filler if you needed it.
