This power cable harness allows you to power up kx 155 165 radio using your own DC power supply on the bench. This is a very handy harness that enables you to check the LED display that you have just installed if it is working properly before you put the kx 155 165 radio back into the aircraft. This harness is also very useful in troubleshooting your other radio to see if it powers up or not.

All you have to do is plug the black socket into the bottom edge connector of the kx 155 165 radio on the back side. And then connect the red banana connector into the red socket of the DC power supply and black banana connector to black socket.

The DC power supplies are readily available online, Amazon or local electronics stores, and they are not expensive.

The KX 155 radio and the variable DC power supply in the picture are not included in sale – they are for demonstration purpose only.

                                                                                   CAUTION

Never set the DC supply voltage higher than the radio voltage. If so, the radio may end up damaged.
