I recently purchased this Bendix/King KT76C Transponder from a reputable seller with 100% positive feedback
as working when removed from his personal plane for an ADS-B upgrade. The 8130-3 tag states it was returned back to service December 2012 and was in use until it was removed in 2022. My own KT76C had a cracked lens, which is now installed on this unit. I did power it up and display illuminates. If you have, or obtain a unit for parts that has a good faceplate, they change out easily with a Phillips screwdriver (see pictures). Mounting tray included. Working when removed, sold as is.
